Napa Valley is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world due to its varied environments. These variations range from marine influence in the south to oak woodlands, forests and chaparral of the northern and central parts of the valley. I am a firm believer that agriculture and wildlife can coexist and thrive together. The recent efforts by conservationists and responsible land stewards have led to a resuscitation in wildlife populations in the valley. Growers are embracing integrated pest management and looking for ways to become more sustainable. All of the photos in this collection were taken in vineyards that are either certified organic and/or Fish Friendly Farming.
